The staff of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) published a report of Registered Fund Statistics on April 24, 2024. The report, which will be issued on a quarterly basis going forward, is the first aggregated report that reflects both the public and non-public information filed on Form N-PORT. This report represents another significant step by the SEC to continue increasing transparency for the benefit of investors, issuers, economists, and the public at large.
The report includes industry statistics and trends with respect to portfolio holdings, flows and returns, interest rate risk, and other exposures across U.S. mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and other registered funds.
